The World Dating Partners platform is now fully integrated into the Dating Factory platform. Three long months of work was finally complete on December 20; at 2 p.m. on that date, all the World Dating Partners web-sites and users began using the Dating Factory platform.
We have experienced 8 times more logins per day from the existing members of the transferred sites. Initial payments increased by 100% whereas recurring payments stayed at the overall high level, and some niche markets grew by up to 30% during the month following the transfer.
We are also very excited to offer former WDP partners new niche markets, new geo markets as well as dynamic promotional tools and traffic analysis possibilities that they did not have on the old platform. You are giving us great feedback about the changes, and as always – we do listen to what you have to say. If your account was transferred from WDP, make sure you work closely with your account managers to explore all the opportunities that the Dating Factory platform has to offer you.
As you already know, in December Dating Factory acquired German White Label Dating Provider, Cross Dating. By merging the platforms, all existing Cross Dating partner’s sites will be integrated into the Dating Factory system by the end of the first quarter of 2013.
With the help of Cross Dating co-founders Lutz Obermann and Marcel Knass, Dating Factory’s Product team is making many improvements to the German speaking market right now. It includes localizing payment providers, web-sites copy as well as adapting designs and usability models to German speaking market patterns.
All the existing partners of the Cross Dating platform have already gained access to their accounts on Dating Factory’s white label platform. Web-sites and end users will be fully transferred on the first week of February. We will keep you updated in our upcoming newsletters. In the meantime, I would advise you to prepare German speaking sites and promotional campaigns to be one of the first webmasters to benefit from these markets on the Dating Factory platform.
The dating culture in Scandinavia reflects, in many ways, the culture of other developed European countries and the United States. However, Scandinavian culture is also reflective of its own small, homogeneous population. About 70% of the population uses the internet on a daily basis. Nordic countries have longer life expectancies as well as higher fertility rates, and one of the highest rates of busy professionals in Europe who don’t really have time to look for dates in bars and clubs.
Dating Factory has seen a massive positive trend in the Swedish market in 2012 and has made it our top priority to launch other Nordic languages and markets by the end of the year. Norwegian language was the first one launched this year and will be followed by Danish and Finnish languages:
So far Sweden, Norway and Denmark are at the top of the list of highest converting countries on the Dating Factory platform, with Finland catching up in volumes. If you don’t promote to these markets yet you should be thinking about it right now to catch your chance of being one of the first there.

To further localize dating markets in Europe, Dating Factory has partnered with 2000charge to provide even more local European payment methods. This autumn we have launched IDEAL for Dutch market and EuroDebit for the majority of European countries to make payments for dating memberships even easier for your members.
A consortium of all the major Dutch banks developed the iDEAL payment method to make it easier for their customers to pay online for products and services. iDEAL allows online payments to be made using online banking through the consumer’s own bank.
EuroDebit® is the perfect billing solution for European customers with no credit card or those who are reluctant to use them online for purchases, and “plastic” of any kind is no longer needed. With the 2000Charge EuroDebit® system, consumers can purchase products or services over the Internet, and the funds are instantly withdrawn from their bank accounts in a safe and efficient manner.
We are very proud to announce the launch of local credit card payments for Brazil that is being tested on five selected sites right now. We are watching the results of the tests and analyzing usage stats and conversion rates. You will hear more about it in our next newsletters. The date of the full launch will also be announced later this year.
There are many factors that influence end user satisfaction and therefore registrations to payments conversion rate: profile quality on the web-sites, anti-scammers protection, site usability and member activity, to name just a few. But one of the main points that make your users come back to the sites again and again is a cleverly built and balanced CRM plan coupled with a localized special offers plan.
CRM, special offers and email deliverability are the main product and development focus right now alongside with Cross Dating platform transfer and DACH market.
We are also optimizing our advertising platform and offering to make sure you earn more from the ads that are placed on your web-sites. You will begin to see the first results in early February, and you can expect your advertising revenues to grow.
