Have you ever wondered why even though time is the same for everyone, it brings about different results for each of us? We all have those same 24 hours, but do we take the time to enjoy it every day? Have you ever felt like you were behind on your “things-I need-to-do-for-my-job” and “things-I-would-like-to-do” lists? Hey, there is nobody watching you read this, so be honest with yourself!
“Begin at the beginning,” the King said, very gravely, “and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
There are 6 billion people in the world, we are all different and you need to accept that – no one can give you a true blueprint for your life, business or personal relations. The only person who can make those choices is You. Let’s try to create an ideal plan for tomorrow together?
Identify your priorities for the day
When reading this, write down the things that are the most important to you right now. Make this list as long as you can, it’s your life and only you can decide what is important to you;
Find the ideal load
Whatever you choose, always keep balance between the things you need to do and the things you would like to do;
Quality
Remember, there is no test run for your life. You are put on this earth and off you go! When you set out to accomplish something, it’s best to do it right the first time, otherwise the time that it takes to re-do it is time that could have been spent on something much better!
Adjust your plans
“The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday-but never jam today”
“It must come sometime to jam today”, Alice objected.
“No it can’t”, said the Queen. “It’s jam every other day. Today isn’t any other day, you know.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
Good time management is when you forget about time! Remember this and if you start to feel like you can’t cope with the things you have scheduled, it means that the plan was wrong and not suitable for you. It’s okay to change your plan again and again until your planned life becomes convenient for you, but do not make excuses for yourself if it’s merely about you being lazy. Ok?
